Room 5 afterhas very old gorgeous wide panel wood floors
We took a peek at the floors and they are looking absolutely amazing! I almost got tears in my eyes to see the rooms looking so finished. Check out this time last year when our mom was stripping the red paint and JD was sanding the third floors. Each room is unique in the widths and colors. Some floors are evidently older than others but they give such a texture and finish to the rooms. This week they will be sanding the first floor and all the final coats. We have planned to have carpets in each room to help with noise but it almost breaks my heart to cover these gorgeous floors!

Looks fantastic! I love that the floors in each room are a little bit different.
The wood looks so beautiful!!!! Are you planning to have carpets cover the entire floor, or like a large rug under the bed and other rugs where needed?
