We have officially checked in our first guests and hopefully they are cuddled up in what one of our "test guests" said were "delicious" beds. We spent the morning, steaming bed skirts, placing amenities, folding towels, hanging robes, and making all the final touches in anticipation of their arrival. I think we may be a little too busy to really take in this momentous day but maybe its best that it came and went. Onto day two!

Looks great. Sugarbush Florist is fantastic. I gave them pretty much no direction besides, medium size and elegant. Nice to have a quality florist 2 blocks away!

Incredible! You might not remember me, but my wife and I were staying in Pomfret visiting with Serena (a friend of Chris') and her family (at Galaxy Hill) for the 4th in 2009. We stopped by the under construction inn during our visit and I have to say the change has been astounding! The place looks amazing. I could tell from what we saw at the time that the place was going to look nice, but you beat my expectations!
Your first guests totally agree on the "delicious" quality of the beds. Room 9 is just as beautiful as the pics make it out to be. Amenities are spectacularly scrumptious - and the added little vase of snapdragons in the bathroom is the perfect finessing touch (we expected no less from the finesse masters). Proud of you guys.
Congratulations! Hiller and I can't wait to see it! Now if only we could get away....maybe in the late fall after soccer season is over?
